Nan Avant is a Seattle based film composer. She has a BFA degree in Piano Performance from California Institute of the Arts, CalArts and has studied film scoring, orchestration and composition with two time Emmy award winner Hummie Mann at the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program. Her works include music for independent film, animation, documentary and concert stage. Postcards from Tora Bora is her first independent documentary feature.
