Stephen Jablonsky is the founder and Creative Director of Imaginary Studio, Inc., a digital design firm in New York City. He creates motion graphics, websites, and custom interactive solutions for diverse clients, including HBO, NBC, RCA Records, American Express, and Laurie Anderson. He has exhibited his photography and interactive work nationally and internationally and recently co-created "selfportraitr," a digital self-portrait show curating the Flickr community that was exhibited at the Pace/MacGill Gallery in New York City.

PRODUCER STATEMENT
I was originally asked to create animations for Postcards but quickly became more involved as the full scope of the film became clear. As Wazhmah began to reveal more details about her personal experiences and childhood in Afghanistan, I realized we had a unique story with universal appeal. My goal was to create a flow and visual style that revealed the ironies and emotions of a family and a country torn apart by war. The animations create a dynamic that exposes deeper layers of the story and makes it unique from other documentaries. Postcards from Tora Bora reveals a side of Afghanistan's past that many have forgotten and generations of Westerners never knew existed.
